This color image of Jupiter was created from the Voyager spacecraft data collected in 1979. The color has been enhanced to bring out the details. Huge storms the size of the Earth can be seen on Jupiter, the most famous of which is the Great Red Spot, which is the red oval on the lower left of this picture.
