Saturn's Natural Satellites

For many years, Saturn was believed to have 18 natural satellites. Since the year 2000, however, many more satellites have been observed and confirmed. As of January 2011, Saturn has 53 named moons. Nine additional moons have been detected and are awaiting official confirmation and naming. That would bring the total to 62!
