How did you get interested in astronomy?

My father was a very widely-read man. He used to bring home all sorts of
books from the library, and in my teens I would flip through these books.
And, a number of them were interesting, but not particularly so. One day
he brought home some astronomy books, and that was it: I was hooked. And
incidently, the books got removed to my bedroom. Two weeks later, father
was wandering around plaintively saying "has anybody seen my library
books?" I knew where they were.
